Track time for Microsoft Teams calls effortlessly with Lucen Track's new integration. Automatically capture call durations, edit details, and maximize productivity. Activate the integration now!

At Lucen Track, we're always working to make time tracking as seamless and intuitive as possible, and today, we're thrilled to announce the Lucen Track + Microsoft Teams Calls Integration. With remote work and virtual meetings becoming the norm, it's more important than ever to accurately track the time spent on calls as well.
Our new integration with Microsoft Teams simplifies this process by automatically capturing the duration of your calls and video calls, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: your work.
Time Tracking for Calls & Video Calls, Made Effortless!
Gone are the days of noting down call times or struggling to recall how long that last client discussion lasted. Now, with our Microsoft Teams integration, every time you start or receive a call or video call in Teams, a Suggestion will automatically pop up in your Lucen Track dashboard, ready for you to review, edit, and save.

The suggestion looks just like the Suggestions you all already know from our other Calendar integrations - it'll just have the Microsoft Teams icons on it.
Feature Highlights
- Automatic Time Tracking: Once the integration is set up, any call or video call you start or receive in Microsoft Teams triggers a Suggestion in your Lucen Track dashboard. No need to manually log your time—the Suggestion will capture the exact duration of the call for you. You'll find the suggestion when the call ends;
- Quick Editing: Want to link the call to a specific project, adjust the phase, or tweak the duration? With just a click on the pencil icon, you can customize the Suggestion before saving it, ensuring that your time tracking stays accurate and relevant;
- Works with Outlook Calendar: If you’ve already connected your Outlook Calendar with Lucen Track, your Outlook events are automatically updated with the actual call duration as the event ends, giving you an accurate picture of your time spent on meetings.
Just so you know, this integration is different from our top-rated app for Microsoft Teams that you already know and love. That app served the purpose of bringing all the Lucen Track features directly into the Teams desktop app, to make tracking time and project easier. This integration is an addition that has to be activated in the Integrations section of the workspace.
How It Works
1. Activate the Integration: Head to the Integrations section of your Lucen Track workspace and select Microsoft Teams Calls. Follow the prompts to connect and grant the necessary permissions.
Please note: Only users with Admin permissions in Microsoft Azure can activate the integration. Once connected, it’s activated for the entire workspace—so every team member benefits!
2. Take a Call: Every time you engage in a Teams call, a Suggestion will be generated automatically on your Lucen Track dashboard. Once it’s there, you can easily adjust the details and save it to your timesheets;

3. Review and Save: Edit the Suggestion if needed—assign it to the appropriate project, adjust the duration, or add any notes—and then save it to your entry.

With this new feature, we continue our mission to make time tracking easy, accurate, and stress-free. By integrating with Microsoft Teams, your time is captured effortlessly, helping you stay on top of your work and maximize productivity. In addition, you can finally include all those clients' virtual meetings and calls in your timesheet and billable activities, should you need to.
If you're an Admin, head over to your Lucen Track to activate the integration and start tracking time like never before. (Please note that this feature is currently in Beta. So if you notice any wonky functioning or if you have any suggestions at all, feel free to reach out!)
Happy time tracking!
