Best Clockify Alternatives for Microsoft 365 Teams (2026)
Compare Clockify alternatives that work with Outlook, Teams and Planner, with plan prices, invoicing and approvals for each tool.

The best Clockify alternatives for Microsoft 365 teams are Lucen Track (formerly Timeneye), timeghost, Toggl Track and Timely. Clockify is a low-cost tracker with Outlook calendar sync on every plan and invoicing from its Standard plan, but its integrations page lists no Microsoft Teams or Planner integration. If your team plans and meets in Microsoft 365, look for Teams, Outlook and Planner support first, then compare invoicing and price. Lucen Track is our product, and we hold it to the same standard as the others.
What should a Microsoft 365 time tracker do?
A Microsoft 365 time tracker captures time where the work already happens: meetings in Outlook, calls in Teams and tasks in Planner. The difference between a native integration and a browser extension matters. A native integration works in the Outlook and Teams desktop apps, while an extension adds a timer only to the web version of each app, and only for people who installed it. Also check whether invoicing and approvals are on the plan you'd buy, and whether people can sign in with their Microsoft account.
How does Clockify work with Microsoft 365?

Invoicing, timesheet approval and QuickBooks start on Standard, and Xero is a paid add-on on Standard or higher at $4.99 a month. Single sign-on is Enterprise only. Clockify's integrations page lists no Microsoft Teams or Planner integration.
| Clockify plan | Annual, per seat per month | Monthly, per seat | What it adds |

Clockify is a strong option for light use at low cost. Teams that plan in Planner, or want Teams meetings and calls captured as time, usually need a different tool. Compare the two in Clockify vs Harvest.

Why choose Lucen Track over Clockify?
Lucen Track (formerly Timeneye) is built around the Microsoft 365 tools a team already uses. Outlook meetings come into Track as suggested entries, everyone can log hours in the Teams app, and Planner and Azure DevOps connect to your work. A Power BI connector carries billable time into dashboards, and people can sign in with Microsoft Entra ID.

Invoicing is available on Starter, Premium and Enterprise. Approved billable hours and expenses become invoice lines. Track doesn't send invoices or collect payments, so you download the PDF and send it yourself. Premium adds approvals and budgets at $13 per user a month, billed annually ($16 billed monthly). Read Lucen Track now includes invoicing, or see the billing and invoicing page for the full feature set.
Compared with Clockify, Track costs more at the entry price ($7 for Starter against $5.49 for Clockify's Standard, both billed annually). Track also has a free plan for up to 2 users, but it doesn't include invoicing. In return you get a Teams app and a Planner integration, which Clockify doesn't list for either, and Microsoft Entra ID sign-in. Track's integrations page doesn't list QuickBooks or Xero sync, which Clockify does from Standard. Track is SOC 2 and GDPR compliant. See Track pricing for every plan.
Billable hours that are logged but never invoiced are a common leak. See where unbilled hours hide.
What are the other Clockify alternatives?
timeghost is a Microsoft 365-focused tracker that detects Teams calls, Outlook appointments, Planner tasks and Azure DevOps work items and suggests them as time entries. It costs €7.90 per user a month billed annually (€8.90 monthly), excluding VAT, with a 14-day trial and no free plan. It doesn't describe invoicing or accounting integrations. Choose it if you want Microsoft-native capture and handle invoicing elsewhere.
Toggl Track is a general-purpose tracker with a large integration library and PDF exports from reports. Its Outlook calendar view is native, but it lists no Microsoft Teams integration, and its browser extension doesn't list Planner. Approvals and SSO need Premium at $16 per user a month billed annually ($24 monthly). Choose it if your team uses many tools outside Microsoft 365.
Timely records activity and calendar events into a private timeline. Timely lists Microsoft Teams as an integration. Plan limits for Teams and Outlook, and Teams call capture, aren't confirmed. Starter costs $9 per user a month billed annually and is capped at 5 users and 20 projects. It has no Planner integration. Choose it if you want automatic capture and an accounting integration. Timely lists QuickBooks Online, but which plans include it isn't confirmed.
